Alfresco Living & Entertainment Area
The goal was to transform a cluttered alfresco into a spacious yet cosy space where family and friends could unwind, share good food, and engage in conversation. This space was to become a favourite spot for our client and their guests; an area for those quality get-togethers and times well spent.
Featuring a modern styling with a focus on clean lines, neutral colours and the philosophy of ‘less is more’, our approach sought to unlock the potential of this alfresco.

Observations:
Overexposed to the elements, the alfresco area lacked weather protection, making it unusable during winter months despite its access to sunshine and sea breeze.
The furniture was oversized for the space, creating awkwardness and making the area feel even smaller.
Insufficient preparation space and beverage storage, important for hosting and simply a nuisance when wanting a top-up.
Overall, the alfresco area felt tired and in need of some attention and care.
Our Solutions:
The creation of distinct zones for cooking, dining, and relaxation.
Integration of a built-in, all-weather outdoor kitchen that's both functional and stylish.
Connection of the indoors to the outdoors so that the alfresco became a natural extension of indoor the space.
Increase of the external wall height as well as outdoor shutters for privacy and protection from the weather.
We furnished the space with a high quality dining setting, furniture and decor, proportional to the size of the space and capable of all-weather use.
